Food & Supply Distribution

Food & Supply Distribution addresses the deepened disparities and widened food insecurity of the Oakland community. EOC distributes groceries, healthy + hot meals, hygiene, household and essential supplies.

Dates and Time
East Oakland Collective distributes *FREE* fresh groceries through our client choice market every Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM at our hub located at 7800 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, CA 94605. 

What We Serve
Based on availability, groceries may include fresh produce (fruit and vegetables), protein (canned, frozen or fresh meat), diary (milk, eggs), bread, pastries, cereal, rice, grains, pasta, etc. We source our food from local farms, the Alameda County Food Community Bank and engage in food recovery from stores such as Whole Foods, Target, FoodMaxx, Sprouts. Limited number of hot meals provided by Community Kitchens are available on a first come, first served basis on Thursday's. 

Registration Is Required 
Registration is required and available onsite; no ID or documentation required. Clients will need to bring their Alameda County Community Food bank membership card OR register onsite once-- this membership card will allow anyone to receive food at any site throughout Alameda County that uses the membership card system. Se habla Espanol. Spanish translation available.

There Is A Wait and Line
Please note there will be a line and wait time until 10:30 AM. Clients who are senior, disabled or pregnant are prioritized in line. 

Parking
Street parking only. Please adhere to safe parking and rules. Do not block neighbor driveways.
